NS-1 is a powerful, intuitive system design and simulation tool that supports all NEXO products.
AFC Image processing incorporates a state-of-the-art Yamaha conversion function that automatically optimizes the motion of an object specified in a DAW for playback in a specific environment.
With an appropriate number of AFC microphones and speakers set up in the target space, AFC Enhance uses the AFC processing engine to flexibly control the ambience of the space as needed. Precise control of early reflections and reverberation, parameters that have a huge effect on the aural impression of space, make it possible to control overall ambience as required while maintaining the environment’s distinctive architectural ambience. By applying that ambience to audience sounds and footsteps in real time, it is possible to give the audience the impression of being in a theater, cave, or other location even if the actual space is acoustically dead.
AFC Image is a Yamaha immersive technology that controls the perceived positions of acoustic images within a space. AFC Image supports object-based production for up to 128 object channels of immersive sound. The immersive experience can even be transmitted to remote 2-channel binaural headphones. An original 3D reverb system that generates ambience matched to the object’s location is also included. Another advanced feature is an original Yamaha conversion function that automatically optimizes the motion of an object specified in a DAW for ideal rendering via any speaker layout in any space. Object motion can be controlled from Yamaha RIVAGE PM, CL, or QL series digital mixing consoles, for flexible on-site control.
