Slim design with swivel mechanism

The swivel mechanism of the housing section tilts the axis by 15° to best match the angle of the human ear. In addition, it provides remarkably comfortable fatigue-free listening — even during long hours of wear — thanks to the rounded rectangular ear pads with low-resilience cushioning, and the headband that uses a fabric with high breathability. The housing can also be folded flat (90°), for easily putting it in a bag or case.

Dual-chamber housing

By adopting a dual-chamber housing structure, the left and right sets provide identical sound quality, with complete separation of the acoustic space containing the High-Resolution Audio capable 40 mm (1-5/8”) driver. In addition, we did not rely on electrical equalisation, but conducted repeated listening tests when creating all parts related to sound quality — including the ear pads — and tweaked the sound acoustically. Even when listening wirelessly or with a cable connection, there is no significant difference in basic sound quality, and reproduction is exceptionally balanced from low to high frequencies, with natural sound perfect for music listening enjoyment.

Listen all your music on smartphones and portable music players easily over a wireless Bluetooth® connection. Moreover, you can enjoy high-quality aptX™ technology supported by the Bluetooth audio codec. The HPH-W300 also gives you continuous music playback of about 24 hours* on about a 3-hour charge. What’s more, the touch sensor control features let you swipe and tap on the right side housing part with your fingertips and perform basic operations, such as play, pause, skip, volume control, and starting smartphone calls. If the connected Bluetooth device has a voice control feature/app (Siri, etc.), you can control it from the headphones.

High-Resolution Audio compatibility

In addition to the wireless connection, you can alternately use a wired connection with the supplied cable. The wired connection has the added advantage of allowing full reproduction of High-Resolution Audio sources — letting you hear all the amazing realistic details that are only possible in High-Resolution, such as the breathing of an artist, or the airy feeling of a live performance. And since you don’t have to worry about battery life, it’s perfect for home listening when you want to hear every sonic detail and nuance.

* High-Resolution Audio compatibility is only available for cable connection. When using Bluetooth wireless, the audio is converted to aptX / AAC / SBC codec.
