Awards for the Winners of Yamaha E-Band Competition 2018 Winners

Yamaha Music Gulf FZE (YMGF) conducted the Yamaha E-Band Competition 2018, in its 3rd-year online video competition for amateur band showcasing their recorded video performances of music talents from diverse cultures. The registration was held from 15th May 2018 to 15th July 2018 and the winners were announced on 27th August 2018.

The Grand winning band, “Nativ Afrik Band” from Ghana was awarded a Japan trip from 19th – 23rd October 2017.

In addition, YMGF announced individual winners and awarding ceremony was organized by distributors to acknowledge the winners.

Best Guitarist

Mr. Khoren from Mik Aelian (Armenia) was awarded a Yamaha Revstar RSP20 Electric Guitar.

Best Keyboardist

Mr. Kujore Joseph Odunayo from Ìró (Nigeria) was awarded a Yamaha MONTAGE6 61-key Synthesizer.

Best Bassist

Mr. Emmanuel Kwame Prah from Nativ Afrik (Ghana) was awarded a Yamaha BBP34 Bass Guitar.

Best Drummer

Audience Choice Awards

The Audience choice award winners are BSB from Ghana with the highest votes by viewers (#1048), they received the award Yamaha SC-02 SessionCake and RH5MA headphones
