High Resolution - Yamaha Nuage Wins Prestige Award

Less than a year after it was launched, Yamaha’s Nuage post-production system has been presented with its first industry award. Winning the 2013 Resolution Award for best desk controller has been particularly satisfying for the company, thanks to it being voted for by industry end users.

Resolution magazine’s annual awards are voted for solely by its readers, predominantly comprising industry specialists and practitioners. This ensures that the awards highlight products which have made the most positive impact on those who use them.

Nuage’s modular design and exceptionally flexible architecture has brought a new level of versatility, intuitive operation, reliability and audio quality to the post-production industry. Integral Dante networking means Nuage can easily interconnect with other audio devices - such as mixing consoles for live or broadcast sound. Nuage is also available in cost-effective configurations, making it accessible to a much wider customer base than other professional post-production systems.

“Winning awards is always gratifying, but winning one which is voted for by end users is particularly special,” says Nick Cook, European Marketing Director at Yamaha Commercial Audio. “It demonstrates that the most important people - those who use and rely on audio technology to earn their living - have recognised in Nuage a product that will make a genuine difference to their working lives.”
