Yamaha CL Series Digital Mixing Consoles Receive 2012 Design For Asia Award
We are honored to announce that Yamaha CL Series digital mixing consoles have received the Design For Asia “Merit Recognition” award for 2012.
Sponsored by the Hong Kong Design Centre, the Design for Asia (DFA) Award seeks to raise awareness amongst businesses and the public about the value of good design as an essential component in business success, as well as for a sustainable, higher quality of life for all. The DFA Award is presented to companies and designers from around the world that have achieved business success through good design that reflects, or has an impact on, the Asian lifestyle.
For this year’s award the best designs from 18 categories were nominated, and the final recipients were selected by a panel of design specialists from around Asia. The CL series was selected from the professional/commercial class of the product/industrial design category. This is the first time a Yamaha product has received a Design For Asia award. We are determined and confident that the Yamaha design philosophy will continue to result in products that feature even more refined, innovative design in the future.

The CL series design arose from detailed, in-depth consideration of the special requirements of professionals who depend on our products to deliver sound in concert, theater, and similar demanding environments. We are delighted and honored that the resultant dynamic, elegant design has received this distinguished award.
