European Debut for New Yamaha DXR Loudspeakers at ISE … And New MGP Mixers
In addition to presenting an ever-expanding range of products for the professional installation markets, ISE sees Yamaha giving a European debut to its new DXR series of active loudspeakers…and the new MGP series of audio mixers.
The DXR series comprises four full-range models - the DXR8, DXR10, DXR12 and DXR15. Each features a high-efficiency, 1100W Class D amplifier, providing an SPL of up to 133dB and delivering deep bass, clear mid-range and accurate high frequencies. Further high quality features include FIR-X tuning™ and D-CONTOUR dynamic multi-band processing.
Suitable for a wide range of applications, including installation in commercial and public premises, churches and schools, the DXR series was designed in conjunction with NEXO and delivers powerful, consistent and high quality sound in any situation.
Also on show will be Yamaha’s other ranges of loudspeakers, amplifiers and audio processors, including an array of its MY series I/O cards. These allow the seamless integration of the company’s products with a wide range of different audio formats and will include the recently launched MY4-AEC echo cancellation card.
The compact MGP series of mixers makes optimum use of both analogue and digital technologies. Comprising two models, the MGP12X and MGP16X, they respectively offer 12 or 16 channels in footprints measuring 348mm or 447mm wide by 495mm deep. The combination of small size, extensive facilities and ease of use makes them ideal for installations where quality and reliability are essential.
The WORKproCA range of contractor installation products will be another feature of the stand, where staff will be on hand to welcome visitors and explain the many options available with Yamaha installation products.
ISE takes place from 31st January to 2nd February at Amsterdam RAI, with Yamaha exhibiting on Booth 1H6.
