Yamaha CL Series Takes Centre Stage At PLASA 2012
Yamaha’s CL series digital mixing consoles will take centre stage on the company’s stand at PLASA 2012, as the CL1, CL3 and CL5 make their show debut.
The CL5 has already been used on many high profile events, including EURO 2012 and live shows throughout Europe. With the CL1 and CL3 also now shipping, the range is bound to be one of the highlights of the show. Exhibited on stand 1-F32, alongside the Rio3224-D and Rio1608-D rack mountable I/O units, the CL consoles will be available for hands-on demonstration with Yamaha’s technicians.
Complementing the CL series will be Yamaha’s M7CL and LS9, which continue to dominate the small and medium-sized digital console markets, featuring extensively on festivals, the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations and major sporting events this summer.
The CL, M7CL and LS9 consoles are all able to exchange show files using File Converter and be controlled via the StageMix iPad app, demonstrating the company’s ongoing commitment to solutions that make the lives of sound engineers as straightforward as possible.
Other products on show at PLASA include the DSR, DXR and DXS series of active digital loudspeakers for the live and installed sound markets, the Dugan-MY16 auto mixing card for the broadcast industry, as well as Yamaha’s industry leading power amplifiers, DME digital mixing engines, the WORKproCA series of installed sound products and the full range of mini-YGDAI interface cards.
PLASA 2012 takes place at London’s Earl’s Court Exhibition Centre from 9th - 12th September.
