Advanced Ensemble Course

Advanced Ensemble Course (10-11 year old)

The Advance Ensemble Course is intended for students who have complete the Junior Ensemble course and passed the Yamaha Piano/Electone Grade 8 exam.

This is the highest course level in the Yamaha Music Education System advancement.

Students: Graduates of the JNC

Duration: 2 levels of 1 year each

Learning Style: Group of approximately 6 students

Lesson Length: 60-minute lesson - 40 lessons a year

In the ANC course, students learn deeper concepts of composition and musical analysis. They develop consistent knowledge about differen musical forms and structures.

The students' playing skills are continuously improving at this level, and their repertoire is increasing to include richer pieces from various musical styles.

Students keep exeriencing playing both the Electone and Piano individually and in ensemble.

What to expect at the end of ANC?

Students who complete the ANC are expected to pass the Yamaha Piano/Electone Grade 7.

As this is the last group course provided for students, graduates are highly recommended to continue their musical studies through individual lessons.

They can join the Yamaha Piano Course, with the Pianoforte Books 11-12, after which they can aim to take the highest Yamaha Grade for students: Grade 6.
