Biography
Rami Attallah, a celebrated Egyptian pianist, composer, arranger, and educator, is a pivotal figure in Egypt's contemporary jazz and Latin music scene. As the founder of The Music Hub in Egypt and the grandson of the jazz icon Bib Henein, Rami carries forward a legacy rooted in excellence and musical innovation.
Having studied under the esteemed jazz pianist Mr. Rashad Fahim, a Berklee College of Music alumnus, and trained in classical piano with Italian maestro Elide Dello Strologo, Rami’s education reflects a blend of rigorous jazz and classical influences. He holds certifications in Piano and Music Theory from Trinity College, London, and was awarded a prestigious scholarship by the French government to attend le CIM Jazz School in Paris.
Rami has composed over fifty pieces and contributed to numerous arrangements and side projects. As the main pianist and music director for the German-Egyptian group "Cairo Steps," he has performed alongside renowned artists such as Lena Chamamyan, Dina El Wadidi, and Mulo Francel. Rami has appeared in over 25 international music festivals across countries like Germany, France, Italy, Lithuania, the UAE, Morocco, Tunisia, Jordan, and more.
Rami is recognized as a key figure in the Egyptian music scene, especially in jazz and Latin music. He has released two albums, "Shokran JAZZilan" and "A Conversation," and teaches Music Theory, Harmony, and Piano in both the Emirates and Egypt.
